Dr. Vinings is enrolled in the aesthetic, neuromuscular, and full-mouth restoration continuum at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). This renowned institution is world famous as the leader in postgraduate study for restorative dentists. Dr. Vinings is the only "LVI preferred dentist" in Colleyville. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and is a former US Navy Dental officer, with advanced training in cosmetic dentistry from the National Naval Dental School.

Commitment to Continuing Education While the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners requires dentists to attend only 12 hours of continuing education per year, Dr. Vinings averages between 200 and 300 hours per year in a broad variety of disciplines such as cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular occlusion and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD), full-mouth rehabilitation and restoration, bonded ceramic and CAD/CAM CEREC dentistry, laser dentistry, and implant dentistry.
Professional Memberships Dr. Vinings is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), Fort Worth District Dental Society (FWDDS), Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry (ACCD), World Clinical/Laser Institute (WCLI), Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), the Dick Barnes Group, the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, and the DFW CEREC Study Club.
Giving Back to the Community Dr. Vinings works with a battered woman's shelter, Christ Haven Children, and the John Peter Smith dental clinic in an effort to give back to the community.
Named "Top Dentist" for Four Consecutive Years Each year, Fort Worth, Texas magazine surveys Tarrant County doctors and medical professionals and asks them to vote for the physicians that they consider leaders in the industry. The results are published in the "Top Dentist" issue of the magazine. Dr. Vinings is proud to have earned this prestigious recognition four years in a row: 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. In addition, Dr. Vinings was named one of America's Top Dentists by the Consumer Research Council of America (CRCA). This organization recognizes dentists with outstanding experience, training, board certification, and professional associations.
